Optional update for EVMS

Running OES 2 build 3.12 on top of SLES 10 SP1 RC4. The server has a cciss volume. And since it has only one major volume, it was needed to format the volume as an evms volume following the documentation on the oes2 site. I then tried creating a pool and was unable to create it due to bug 230935. I was given a patch by Lane which allowed me to create the NSS pool and volume. However after rebooting the server, it would no longer boot. I spoke with Lane this morning and they have this duplicated locally. Lane mentioned that this bug should probably go to Paul.
