Information for teachers, who want to use a new lesson, but are not able to do the development

The most easy way is to send an email to the OpenWebSchool describing your idea of a new lesson. We would add this idea to our "idea pool". But we can't say anything, how long we will need to implement your idea.

If your idea is only an adaption of an existing lesson, it might be easy to do the necessary changes very quickly. Maybe you can do the changes too! This belongs to the way the lesson was implemented.

For instance, if you need another completion test: You can do it yourself! You only have to create a file with a certain format. This can be done with each text editor or word processing program. A special tool isn't needed.

A good way to start is to look on our sample lessons. Look for a lesson which is like the one you need. For example you can find an instruction how to create your own completion test.

If you realise while reading the instruction that implementing your idea doesn't seem to be very easy, it might be helpful for the developer to understand your idea in connection to an existing one.

Your email with the description of your idea could be like the following: "The new lesson should work like lesson XYZ. The following text should appear at ... The title must be changed to ... If the pupil hits the button [OK], the program should do ... And another button is needed to get to the instructions: ..."

Please don't forget the class level and subject for your lesson. We need this information to add the idea to our idea pool and to find the correct place in the OpenWebSchool for your lesson.

If you describe your idea very well, it will be easy for the developer to create the lesson. Sometimes we need to get into contact with you, so please provide your email address (tell us, if we are not allowed to publish your address)!

Give the OpenWebSchool a chance and send us your idea!
