The OpenWebSchool Newsletter

From time to time we send an e-mail with current information on the OpenWebSchool project, this is the OpenWebSchool Newsletter. You find all previously sent (English) newsletters in the Newsletter archive.

You can subscribe to the OpenWebSchool Newsletter just like to any newspaper or magazine (except that it does not cost you anything): Please enter into the following input field the e-mail address to which the newsletter will be sent, and click on the [Subscribe] button. That's all.

What is a mailing list?

• A mailing list is a system with an automatic maintenance of the distribution list for e-mails. This allows to send e-mails directly to an interested audience (for example, newsletters), or to discuss topics on the internet via e-mail.

How do mailing lists work technically?

• Our provider IN-Berlin runs a certain software program (Petidomo 2.2), which is controlled by e-mails with a certain format. Sending e-mails to this software allows users to subscribe to mailing lists, to unsubscribe form them, to view the distribution lists, or even to send an e-mail to a specific distribution list.
