To retrieve any information about your image, either hover the mouse pointer over the image to display a tool tip with very basic data about your image, or right-click the image and select from the context menu.
Three tabs provide the following information:
This tab lists basic file information, such as name, date, size, owner and permission and some basic album information like the album the image belongs to and any tags or ratings assigned to this image.
EXIF information is provided by the camera and contains all sorts of technical details about the camera and the image, such as camera manufacturer, model, exposure time and resolution and many more. For a basic overview, set the to . For the complete data set, select .
Use the tab to display a graphic representation of the range of tones from dark to light in your image. Using the histogram you can check whether you used the correct exposure in creating this image.
