7.8. Enabling Advertisment Blockers

Some Web pages open annoying advertisments. With the help of Konqueror, these windows can be blocked. Proceed as follows:

Procedure 7.3. Blocking Annoying Advertisments

  1. Start Konqueror.

  2. Go to Settings+Configure Konqueror+AdBlock Filter.

  3. Activate Enable filters.

  4. Click Insert.

  5. Enter an expression for the Web page to filter. For example:

    http://www.example.com/*

    This filters everything that comes from that URL.
