By convention, RPMs are named as follows:
name-version-release.arch.rpm
Name and version are the name and version of the software.  Release
is the release number of the package (sometimes there are many
releases of a package of the same version of software).  Arch
denotes the specific architecture the package was built on.  For
example, i386 denotes Intel based machines, axp denotes Digital
Alpha based machines.
