Smart Bookmarks can be created by finding out what address a site uses for
searching, for example
http://www.google.com/search?q=SEARCHPHRASE will
start a Google query for SEARCHPHRASE.
To make this address a Smart Bookmark, perform the following steps:
Add a bookmark for
http://www.google.com/search?q=SEARCHPHRASE
Open the bookmarks window.
In the Address field of the bookmark's
Properties dialog, replace
SEARCHPHRASE with %s.
(Optional) If you want the Smart Bookmark to appear in the bookmarks
bar, as shown in
, select
Show in Bookmarks Bar in the bookmark's
Properties dialog.
