Gantt Chart Configuration

This form enables you to specify the settings for the Gantt chart.

If you click the “Create Gantt Chart” button, the chart will be displayed in a pop-up window. You can save the chart as file by selecting “Save Image as...” from the context menu in this pop-up window.

The title of the Gantt chart can be customized by changing a properties file.

“Width” defines the Gantt chart’s overall width in pixels. The recommended default value is 960, which is suitable for most displays and documents.

If the query returns a larger amount of data that ranges over a larger time period (e.g. several months), an appropriate higher value like 2000 or more should be chosen. In case any unreasonable values are entered, the default values are silently taken.

“Height” does not define the overall height of the Gantt chart but rather the height of a single row displaying one item in pixels. Fourty is the recommended default value. For a larger amount of data a value of 30 might be more appropriate.

You can define the settings for each of the Gantt chart items by setting the appropriate checkbox. The listing below shows some more detailed information.
