Changing Your Local iFolder Directory

Novell® iFolder® client allows you to choose the location of your local iFolder directory during the install process. If you modify the location, you must manually relocate your files to the new location. Moving files manually prevents iFolder from downloading your entire account to the new location.

  1. Log in to your iFolder account.

  2. Right-click the iFolder icon in the system tray, then click Account Information > File > Set iFolder Location.

  3. Browse to or type the path to the exact local location where you want to store your local iFolder data, then click OK.

  4. Log out of iFolder.

  5. Double-click the iFolder shortcut (to the old location) on your desktop.

  6. Click Edit > Select All.

  7. Click Edit > Cut.

  8. Close the window.

  9. Double-click the iFolder shortcut (to the new location) on your desktop.

  10. Click Edit > Paste.

  11. Log in to your iFolder account.
